Minh Nguyen, DO, FACOEM, a former Concentra and US HealthWorks executive, and work comp innovator Greg Moore MPH, launch a new occupational clinic
Gardena, CA (BUSINESS WIRE) – Dr. Minh Nguyen, an esteemed physician and medical business leader in occupational medicine, has joined Agile Occupational Medicine as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Nguyen will focus on building successful practice teams and developing solutions for employers and payors that result in significant savings and superior outcomes for patients.

With more than 20 years of experience in occupational medicine, his knowledge compliments Agile’s mission of providing best outcomes for patients. His comprehensive background in occupational medicine as a both a practitioner and executive provides critical insights and clinical experience to Agile’s launch.
Agile Occupational Medicine is a new venture, built from the ground-up to deliver positive patient outcomes. The leadership team behind its founding, helmed by noted industry leader Greg Moore, have dedicated their careers to improving workers’ compensation by focusing on patient outcomes. Starting on a clean slate has allowed them to develop systems, staff and procedures that focus on aggressive case management to drive timely resolutions. “We plan to leverage our first clinic as a platform for innovation in patient care, customer support, and claims team integration. Dr. Nguyen most recently served as Vice President of Medical Operations at Concentra where he oversaw the largest occupational medical group in California and Hawaii with over 100 clinics and 300 clinicians. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Medical/Western Division at US HealthWorks, overseeing medical services, physicians and staff at 56 clinics in Southern California.

Dr. Nguyen.
Dr. Nguyen, DO, MPH, MHA, MGH, MBA, FACOEM received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from
Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his occupational medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine after completing his general surgery internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He also holds multiple master’s degrees from A.T. Still University’s School of Health Management in Health Care Administration, Geriatric Health and Public Health, as well as an Executive MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business. He is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and California and is an Expert Medical Reviewer for the Osteopathic Medical Board of California, a Medical Review Officer and a Civil Surgeon. He is a former Naval officer having served in the Pacific Fleet, the San Diego Naval Medical Center and a Marine Air Wing at Miramar, CA.
