Agile expands their clinic base with a second clinic that will serve the industrial heart of Los Angeles.
(Wilmington, CA–March 21, 2022) – Long Beach-area employers now have access to a comprehensive suite of services aimed at creating a healthier workforce with the recent addition of a new Agile Occupational Medicine clinic dedicated exclusively to occupational medicine.
Agile Wilmington, located in the heavily industrialized harbor region of Los Angeles, opened yesterday. It is the latest initiative by Agile Occupational Medicine, which focuses on forming partnerships with local businesses to ensure that the medical needs of local employees are addressed. From DOT physicals, drug screenings to workplace injury treatment, Agile offers a wide range of occupational health programs that help employers maintain a healthy and safe workforce, while providing cost-effective health care for your company and employees.
The new clinic is the second for Agile and is based on the success of their Gardena clinic, which was launched late last year as a platform for innovation in patient care, customer support, and claims team integration. Agile plans on opening multiple clinics throughout California before expanding nationally in the next five years.
“Agile brings a unique approach to occupational health by focusing on speed of recovery while meeting employers’ expectations, and keeping the patient engaged in the process” said Greg Moore, Founder and CEO. “Through aggressive scheduling and follow-up, injured employees get back to work and life as soon as possible. This is particularly important in an area like Wilmington that serves the Port of Los Angeles and, in effect, the rest of the country” continued Moore.
Agile offers a unique set of advantages to both employers and their workers, including extensive knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) protocols as well as specializing in federally mandated DOT testing and screening.
“It’s very exciting because Wilmington area businesses and employees have needed a clinic like this for a long time,” said Dr. Minh Nguyen, Agile’s Chief Medical Officer and board-certified occupational medicine specialist who will oversee care at the clinic. “Agile is the new leader in occupational medicine and will be collaborating with numerous major employers to address their workers’ wellness. Our shared commitment to building a better option for occupational medicine is the foundation on which we established this highly specialized clinic that focuses on what we do best: getting injured workers back to work fast” concluded Nguyen.
