Minh Q. Nguyen, DO FACOEM

Chief Medical Director

Dr. Nguyen, DO, MPH, MHA, MGH, MBA, FACOEM is a highly respected physician and proven leader dedicated to positive patient results. Dr. Nguyen has a unique combination of skills and perspectives. With more than 20 years of experience in occupational medicine, his knowledge complements Agile’s mission of providing the best outcomes for patients. His comprehensive background in occupational medicine, gained as both a practitioner and executive, offers critical insights and clinical experience to Agile’s launch.

Dr. Nguyen most recently served as Vice President of Medical Operations at Concentra, where he oversaw the largest occupational medical group in California and Hawaii with over 100 clinics and 300 clinicians. Before that, he was Vice President of Medical/Western Division at US HealthWorks, overseeing medical services, physicians, and staff at 56 clinics in Southern California.

He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his occupational medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine after completing his general surgery internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He also holds multiple master’s degrees from A.T. Still University’s School of Health Management in Health Care Administration, Geriatric Health, and Public Health, as well as an Executive MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business. He is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and California. He is an Expert Medical Reviewer for the Osteopathic Medical Board of California, a Medical Review Officer, and a Civil Surgeon. He is a former Naval officer having served in the Pacific Fleet, the San Diego Naval Medical Center, and a Marine Air Wing at Miramar, CA.

Kayvon Yadidi, DO

Regional Medical Director

Dr. Yadidi brings more than 30 years of experience in occupational medicine, including over 25 years as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). He has served as the Medical Director at some of the largest occupational health centers in the nation. He is known for expertly managing complex occupational cases and delivering sound medical/legal determinations.

A lifelong Angeleno, Dr. Yadidi immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 11 and has called Los Angeles home ever since. He graduated from UCLA, earned his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences, and completed his Internal Medicine residency at LA County/USC Medical Center.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Yadidi is a passionate soccer enthusiast—playing, coaching, refereeing, and watching the game whenever he gets the chance. He also enjoys cooking as a form of relaxation and is a self-proclaimed “Grill Master”.

Roman Kownacki, MD, MPH

VP of Quality Assurance

Dr. Roman Kownacki was the Chief of the Kaiser Permanente, Richmond Occupational Medicine Department. Roman received his medical degree from Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Occupational Medicine at the University of Southern California and a Master’s in Public Health from UCLA. He is a past President of the Western Occupational and Environmental Association. He recently served on the California Medical Association Workers’ Compensation Technical Advisory Committee and the Workers Compensation Research Institute California Technical Advisory Committee.
